The Refugee Team’s mission is to love a family entering the United States under refugee status by assisting with the many adjustments to life here. This includes:
- making them feel welcome,
- helping them find housing,
- ensuring they have appliances and other necessities,
- connecting them with government and nonprofit services,
- teaching them the skills and facts necessary for life in the United States,
- meeting their transportation needs,
- supporting them in achieving financial self-sufficiency,
- modeling the servant example set by Jesus Christ.
